What is the advantage of a Spiral lead Acid battery over a regular AGM battery?
A spiral lead acid battery IS an Absorbent Glass Mat battery but why would someone go with a spiral lead acid over a plain old agm battery? Any advantages to the spiral lead acid ones?
Well, I’ve had an AGM batteries with simple flat plates in it starting a 4WD vehicle and have had not one problem starting my truck, even over some serious rough terrain or racing down bumpy roads. I am wondering if it is just a marketing gimmick, like trying to sell toothbrushes. All toothbrushes work fine if used properly but you gotta make something that looks “new and improved” to sell them.
