how do you run a sub at 1.3 ohms?
Okay so I want three 10″ SVC 4 ohm subs… this website…. http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard.asp?submitted=true&woofer_qty=3&woofer_imp=1 tells me I can wire them at 1.34 ohms each.. how does my amp know to play at 1.34? Will my amp play at 1.34? I know amps can play at 1, 2, or 4 ohm… but 1.34? What? someone educate me with the .34 part.
your amp is going to know by it self going by how you wire your subs, yes is going to be a 1.33 load or a 12 ohm load , So now that you know how to wire then you need to find a amp we a 1 ohm rating.
