Well, with collision coverage it really does not matter as it will insure any damage done to your vehicle regardless so you can bring it in and get it fixed either way and restore it to its original condition in most cases.
Property Damage Liability Coverage:
Property Damage Liability Insurance will cover any expenses or costs from damage caused to someone else’s property (car, building, fence, city property, etc.). If somehow the situation goes into litigation where you must go to court and resolve this then this type of coverage will also cover those expenses as well.
UnInsured Motorist Coverage:
If there was a hit-and-run driver involved and you could not get their information then this will also cover the damage caused by them.
