Jackson DK2 Guitar – A Versatile And Tasteful Choice
The Jackson DK2 guitar proves to be a true Jackson classic, and it is the favorite guitar of bands like My Dying Bride. It is able to handle all of your various requirements, since it is capable of playing Rock, Blues, and Metal all together.
Bolt on maple neck, alder body (including flame maple veneer on trans finishes), Seymour Duncan humbucking (bridge), compound radius rosewood fingerboard, and single coil (middle and neck) pickups, along with Jackson low profile double locking tremolo and black hardware all work together to ensure that the Jackson DK2 Guitar is both a terrific bargain and flexible for all needs.
Also known as Dinky, the Jackson DK2 is a great value guitar, but what else is good about it?
The appearance of the guitar is great. You are bound to be thrilled by one of the 8 choices of color the guitar is available in. I personally like the Trans Blue. The transparent finished varieties include an amazing maple flamed top. Every time you look at this guitar you will want to play it, it really rocks.
You will have no problems at all bending those high blue notes since the guitar sounds so fantastic. You are simply able to create room shaking screams and wails without putting it out of tune, when you go with the Floyd Rose double locking tremolo.
But it doesn’t just look and sound good. The hardware on the Jackson DK2 guitar is military grade stuff. The cheap materials used in similar types of guitars is not what you will find with this guitar.
Lovely to the touch, the fretboard is a bound rosewood. The jumbo frets create a delight in playing experience. Its stock pickups are wonderful and make this guitar an ideal selection for either Rock or Metal styles.
This guitar has very little fret buzz and has a low action, which I love because I am no fan of sore fingers. The guitar will most likely be fine straight out of the factory for anybody.
With the single coils offering a very clean alternative to the full heavy thick sound, the Seymour Duncan pickups prove to be very flexible.
The Jackson DK2 guitar is an excellent guitar and is a great performing guitar on stage. The Jackson DK2 is extremely versatile, although Jackson guitars are by far one of the best type of guitar for heavy metal. Mean looks make this Strat style guitar look tough.
A few upgrades can increase the performance of this guitar, even though it is a sweet guitar for its price. The Jackson DK2 guitars are build to last and are very versatile for the price you pay. The Jackson DK2 is definitely a guitar for life, and a great guitar all around!
