Bnc Socket
A Rackmount LCD is a 1U monitor integrated into rack mountable housing. With the screen sizes ranging from 17″ to 20″, these monitors work with many types of video inputs such as HDMI, VGA, DVI, S-Video, Composite RCA and Composite BNC. The different video types of these LCDs are further classified in different categories depending upon features such as touch screen, sunlight readable or shallow depth. While the sunlight readable LCD is used in environments where video monitoring in bright environments is necessary, the shallow depth or short depth LCD is useful in server environments where non-standard server racks are being used.
Depending on the size or application of the Rack LCD needed, there are other variants of the 1U unit which are built in a 2U, 6U, 7U, 8U, 9U or 10U frame. The advantage of the 1U unit is its unique flip up design that allows the unit to remain open for easy viewing even when the rack door is closed. Equipped with a user friendly design, these units do not require complex installation procedures. This unit also comes with adjustable mounting brackets from 15.3″ to 33.2″. The entire unit is constructed in a sturdy metal case and has a black anodized finish.
Other key features of the Rackmount LCD Monitor are a built-in multi lingual on screen display with front panel push button controls that manage Brightness, Contrast, Color, Clock, H. Position, V. Position, Phase, Scaling, Input select, Multi window, Clear EEPROM, OSD adjust and Save.Offering multi platform compatibility to PCs, SUNs, IBMs, HPs, Dells; this device also has regulatory approvals from FCC, CE, VCCI, TAA and RoHS. Some models also have the side to side wide angle viewing feature as the CRT monitor along with ball bearing telescopic slides with stoppers and lock out rails which prevent movement of the unit while in use. The power options are 12V, 24V and 48V DC.
