Dual Functional Remote Kvm Switch: Portable And Scalable Device
Dual functional KVM switch also known as Digi Passport I–KVM (KVM referred keyboard, visual display unit, mouse) that is use for easy remote control of a server and another serially connected device such as a private branch exchange or a router. Dual functional remote KVM switch can be used to digitally access administer servers and network related equipment in several diverse remote locations like offices, educational institutes, retails, super markets, far flung offices of hosted service providers.
It can be accesses or pinged by Network Administrators (NA) via handheld smart phones, laptops or suitable private computing scenarios to repair damaged software, upgrade applications and even install new requirements by virtue of its built in free virtual media application that enables file transfers.
Through this switch the network administrator can do all this while sitting any where like home or during visit to another city. To do this only the resource they require is IP connectivity. This translates to distant maintenance of servers thus eliminate time consuming, pocket pinching and physical on site visits.
This KVM Switch automatically and intelligently compresses digital streams to free up bandwidth and increase the traffic. It uses 100 percent less than any other competitive product in the same class as officials claim.
I-KVM is designed in such a way that it work in series both in terms of power usage and network transmissions with other I-KVM switch. In other way we can say that each added device is connected to the last one in the chain and this protocol works with up to 8 such successive connections from a single port. Its low cast and scalability will allow users to maximum use.
Its security features are based on the Advance Encryption Standard and RSA encryption algorithm. It provides verification support for protocols such as lightweight Directory Access, Remote Authentication Dial in User Service, TACAS+ and Kerberos.
