Breaker Lug
Electrial main breaker trip.?
The main 100 amp breaker is tripping. There is an apparent heat buildup on one side. I have check all lugs (hot and neutral) for tightness and found nothing. the amperage reading after a reset is only 30 on each hot leg coming in. The side that is hot is showing the normal discoloration associated with heat buildup.

Have you taken a load reading? And is the load balanced?
If you are getting _any_ sort of heat build-up on your main breaker DO NOT PASS GO, DO NOT COLLECT $200 – go directly to your licensed electrician and have the problem diagnosed properly.
I have seen too many fires from this sort of thing to be at all sanguine about making any sort of suggestions beyond “Call a Pro” when it comes to life-safety.
