Geo Tracker and Ford Focus Speedometer Cables?
I have a broken Ford Focus but I drive a 1996 Geo Tracker with no speedometer. Can I take the Focus’s speedometer and put it in the Geo?
Hi There.
it can work. but it will be an installation nightmare.
you will need a custom cable to run the speedometer as the geo end is different from the ford end.
calibration will not be a problem as both speedos are 1 to 1 ratios.
but installing it into the dash is where all the real custom work will be done.
it is not impossible…just difficult.
