what is the wobble effect around characters on my lcd tv?
i have a samsung lcd tv and sometimes theres a wobble or shake effect around people on the screen. it doesnt happen all the time but doesnt happen during fast moving scenes. for example if i watch top gear. a car will speen round a corner and it doesnt happen. but if a person walks towards camera theres an effect around the person. iv got movie plus switched on and DNIE but nothing makes any difference and i never notice it on tvs in shops. what is it?
Unfortunately, this kind of effect is common. By the time the picture is on your screen, the signal it was created fom has gone through a wide range of processing. From when the signal leaves the original camera, it is bent, folded , spindled and mutilated! The exact cause of your observation will be difficult to pin down. Each channel has different compression and processing methods. Your TV has several different processors which are used to change the input signal to match your TV’s resolution and aspect ratio. By obseving the source of the signal, and the resolution thereof when the problem occurrs, you may be able to figure out the culprit.
