how many of those speakers can i purchase and add to the one amp?
would i just put all the speaker wires into the black/red speaker clamp, or would I have to purchase an adapter or something?
If you want to use multiple speakers with this amp then the best way is to get transformers like this… http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=300-040 How many you can add depends on the output tap you select. If you select the 10 watt output for example you could in theory use 8 because the amplifier is rated 80 watts. 10 x 8 is 80. If you select the 5 watt tap you could use 20. If you select the 0.62 watt tap you could use 129. The lower power output tap you use the lower the volume will be however.
If you don’t want to use transformers you can series parallel just about any non prime number. Four speakers for example two in parallel in series with another two in parallel is back to the same 8 ohms. In theory you could use an infinite number of speakers as long as your series parallel configuration worked out to 4, 8 or 16 ohms. Of course the voltage and current division would reduce the power the more you added so with an infinite number of speakers the power to each would be zero.
