I need circuit help badly!!! Re: LM3914 chip used to “fool” the ECM computer in a ’99 Toyota truck.
In this circuit the LM3914 is used to send sequentially reduced voltage to the fuel computer, (ECM). The max. voltage being 500 millivolts, manually attenuated at 50 mv. graduations by a six-position rotary switch. The whole unit is used in conjunction with an “electrolizer” to produce Brown’s Gas or H2 O in gasious form. This gas is then fed into the cars’ intake to help with gas milage. Because of the fuel sensors in the exhaust line, without the above mentioned circuit, the ECM would read the cleaner exhaust as “not enough” gasoline and add more thereby negating any fuel savings. MY MAIN PROBLEM is this: it is such a simple circuit with the main componets being the LM3914, a MPSA14 Darlington pair transistor, a simple BC327 pnp transistor and an LED as a triggering indicator. My problem is EXTREME frustration…I can’t get it to work!!! If you think you can or want to help, contact me and I will email , fax, or snail-mail the schematic to you with all info. PLZ Help!!
