How can backward stone age men kill modern day USA troops in Afghanistan?
The answer can be found by observing tourists.
I’m an American who moved to Prague, Czech Republic. Every day I see disoriented, befuddled, dopey tourists who barely qualify as sentient beings. They just lumber along, seemingly oblivious to their surroundings. These are the idiots who will stand at the bottom of a flight of stairs as if no one else needs to exit.
Now compare this with a supposedly “dumb” animal. Animals, if anything, have heightened senses of their surroundings. Every try sneaking up on a rabbit?
So it appears that as we become more “advanced” we lose some of the natural benefits that stone age people possessed, who for their very survival, had to be alert and cognizant of their surroundings.
So these Afghans have the stealth of animals and all the benefits that go along with it. Add to this the fact they are being supplied with ultra modern weapons by places like Iran, and you can see what a quandry we’re in.
It’s like trying to kill a stealthy jaguar who has grenade launchers in its teeth.
