AC current is analog signal, why it cant be digital ?
generally Ac current is Analog signal ,
Why it can’t be digital signal ?
it would be more convenient in this modern world.
It would be extremely inconvenient.
A square wave has many high harmonics. They’d cause all kinds of problems with RF emissions, transformers, and I don’t know what all. Capacitance and inductance in the transmission grid would introduce frequency-dependent phase shifts that would turn the nice, neat square wave into a gawdawful mess.
Give me a clean, clear sine wave any day. I’ll save the digital signals for where they work better. (Digital signals are really analog signals anyway – calling them digital just means that you’re ignoring a lot of what’s going on.)
