Why many cables have folded tube just before the connector?
If you don’t understand what I’m asking, see the pic in the below link. see just before both ends. One end has a tube in which cables is folded or something like this. Many cables has this. Why?

That’s a Ferrite Core. It cuts down electrical interference.
Its on tons of stuff such as your xbox. Without it you might notice a drop in graphics if you have a lot of electrical wires jumbled behind your tv.
