Flashing Water
i jhave a wocester 24cdi boiler i have heating at present but no hot water, and a red tap is flashing?
i have a worcester boiler and have heating at the moment but no hot water, a red tap keeps flashing on the boiler its self, the pressure is ok, what do i need to do please
Unfortunately i am disgusted by the 1st paragraph of the previous answer (robert generation). I work for BG and know a 24cdi like back of my hand. If we have a problem with any Worcester boiler we have a direct line to Worcester and can normally solve the problem there and then. Regarding putting boilers in wrongly i can only suggest it was contractors that put them in , because where we are the engineers would get the sack if they put them in wrong, so every one is done by the book, not like some cowboy plumbers we have to follow when customers call us to put their mistakes right !!
Regarding your hot water flashing light , it just depends whether its flashing fast or slow. If you have a look at your manual under fault finding it points you in the right direction. If its flashing fast you have a air flow problem through your boiler, probably fan or air pressure switch , if its flashing slow you probably have a sensor fault , but without checking the Resistances on them you can`t really tell .
