| I know a guy that just bought a Frontier and got rolled up by my Ridgeline. Anyway I have worked around Hondas for ever and have owned 6 Hondas. I know that Hondas love to breathe. Anyone know of a cold air intake for the Ridgeline? |

I checked the K&N site several weeks ago and they only had oil filters for the Ridgeline. They're supposed to email me when they get new products for the Ridgeline. The air filter alone is typically good for 5+ HP. I'm not sure i'd want to do more than just replacing the air filter element with an oiled type. The Ridgeline already has a cold air intake system. I doubt you'd get much ram effect but cold air is always a good thing.
Also.... what does it mean when you say "got rolled up by my Ridgeline"? |

| Rolled up means my Ridgeline is better. I noticed that the intake is very restrictive on my truck. I had a bad experinces with K&N (I bought a air filter for my BMW and it was over oiled causing my MAF sensor to fail) I have a aFe intake on my M3 and it helped out my car tremendously. I contacted them by E-mail and the responded by telling me they are currentley working on one and would let me now status on it. |

I think any high performance filter is going to be an oiled type and therefore make you susceptible to that type of problem. Although you can blame K&N if it was pre-oiled.
Please post again if you get info on an aftermarket intake. I'd be interested! |

I just put a K&N cold air intake in to my ridgeline
Man what a difference, you can tell the difference right away
More power and a very cool sounding engine, and I hear better gas mileage... I am not sure about that yet because i am stomping on the gas a lot because of that great new power sound..
There is a whistling at 40 mph but it goes away at 43 mph, other than that you will love the sound and increases of power .I am about to take a road trip to NJ so I should get a an idea if I am getting better gas mileage |

Let us know on the gas mileage as $3.00 + is bad news.
Have a great trip.
