I think I may be able to help make this happen. I've been working with a great company that has done lifts for us on other vehicles. Great quality, and awesome product. www.cornfedsuspension.com
Anyone that is interested please EMAIL:
CornfedSuspension@cox.net
If they get enough interest, it can be done. Please email! Also, first customer may get a free kit when it's ready. |

| That's awesome. One question that I have that ties in with getting a lift and putting on bigger tires - What about recalibrating the speedometer? I'd love to get a lift and put some nice big mudders on my Ridgeline, but not if I can't do it without throwing off my speedo and odo. |

| A little lift could be a good thing! I'd like to hear more about this from those of you who (a) have no connection with the vendor and (b) have 'lifted' trucks before. I'm also interested in hearing from those with connections, because they can tell us the scoop on the actual product. |

Do you mean the tire pressure monitoring system? I guess it will put the sensors a few inches farther from the receivers than Honda originally intended, we'll just have to try it to see how it works out.
The Truxxx kit is just spring spacers, I believe that's what the Cornfed systems do as well. |

These lift kits will probably consist of spacers that go between the strut cap and body. That means they should be inexpensive ($500 tops) but won't do anything to increase suspension travel.
But, with fully independent suspension, the length of the control arms would be a limiting factor as far as suspension travel anyway, when compared to a live axle setup.
One thing I'd like to see are antisway bar quick-disconnects and spherical bearings to replace the rubber bushings. Both would enhance suspension travel and articulation. |
