| I have an RTL w/Nav and was wondering if I put an aftermarket stereo in my ridge, would the auxilary hook-up for an MP3 player still work and also would I be able to use the stock cd changer? Thanks in advance. |

| No, I'm not going to take the nav out. I just wanted to know if I replaced the radio underneath the nav with an aftermarket one would I be able to hook up the stock cd changer and mp3 jack? |

I'd bet that the radio is an integral part of the Nav system and that if you remove it the Nav either won't work at all or won't work correctly. I'll take a look through my service manual to see if I can find any info on how the two are linked, that might take a while, its a really big book.
If you're dead set on the idea then you can certainly hook an aftermarket radio up to the Aux. jack if it has an Aux. input on it. The factory in dash CD changer (behind the Nav) most certainly would not work however. |
