|
|
| I've been reading this site all day and I'm real serious about buying very soon. I've seen people have bought RTL's for up to $2k under invoice and I'm wondering if that deep of a discount will apply to the RT. Also, anyone in the southeast Michigan area w/recommedations for a dealer? TIA,frank |

| $2 K under invoice???? That would be one heck of a deal. It was probably $2K under MSRP. I paid around invoice in the Baltimore area a couple weeks ago, and that was the best deal I could find on a RT. |

In WA state, I just got my RT for about $170 over invoice. Except not really, because I also bought the fog lights and tow package at the price they asked. Paid $27k flat for the whole thing including destination, but before tax, title.
What I found before negotiating with my local dealer is that the RTs are harder to find. Everyone has lots of moonroofs and leather, but apparently Honda decided to hold back on the base models somewhat. Anyway, I took this into consideration when dealing, because my dealer had the only one I could find in the color I wanted, and I only found about half a dozen total in the region. (Although it was only a cursory search.) |

I bought my RT this weekend in Fairfax VA for $24,000 before tax and tags.
I also paid and extra $1,500 far a 120,000 /7 year bumper to bumper honda warranty.
total cost was $26,500 out the door... |

We got our RT for $1000 under invoice (with no accessories). See my post under Sucessful Pricing Stragegies...and good luck.
All Honda dealers are not the same, and you WILL have to do a bit of work to save money. Call around or better yet, use the internet and make the dealer work for the sale.
Good luck! |

Here's 3 sites that will help with your hunt. You should have no problem getting the truck under invoice. Use the fax attack from Fighting Chance. I used all 3 of these for researching my purchase, but mine was an RTL, it should work with any vehicle that is available.
