| Does Honda have their own engine heater? Do they recommend a certain type or none at all? (oil or anti freeze) |

If I remember correctly - it is one of the listed options. |

Is this what you asked about? It's at the "partscheap" website.
Honda Ridgeline Engine Block Heater
Genuine Honda Ridgeline Engine Block Heater
If you live in an area that experiences freezing temperatures, you may already know how important an engine block heater is. Not only will your truck start faster in freezing temperatures, but you will greatly reduce the wear and tear on your battery and engine.

Does you have to park your RidgeLine outside overnight? |

| We call it a block heater in Canada and its on our accessories list. It is usually put in by dealers automatically. |

This is common for many stealers in cold climates down here as well. I've had them on a couple cars over the years - but never had to use them since I always had a garage (even un-heated - never had a problem). |

| After thinking about it, I would rather have a heater that heats the oil instead of the anti freeze.I'll ask Honda first and but they will probley say the anti freeze heater, since they dont have a oil heater.I would rather keep the oil warm to pump up in cold weather than have instant heat it the cab.Just my 2cents |

I bought my engine block heater here and saved about $20.00 bucks. I'm hoping my dealer will install it for me.
