Really? Last I checked ALL aftermarket HID's were illegal. Have the rules changed? Can you post some information from the applicable agency that states that your's are legal?
Not trying to be difficult - but I have seen way to many on the road that were downriight dangerous with their aim and intensity (which is why aftermarket conversions were made illeagal originally). |

Hey -- I have HID's that were supposed to be hi/lo in my '84 300D Mercedes. The low beams are AWESOME (hid) but the hi beams are some cheesey bulb that has 10% the output of the hi beam.
Are these units TRUE hi/low beam, that work witht he factory switch? Also do these require any cutting of electrical?
Thanks |

Hello,
My name is Jason and I work with Mark. I was a member since the start but lost my profile when the forum was revised.
With any of our products please check the laws. BlingLights.com recommends following the laws.
Our dual beam kit is our own brand. It is plug and play with warranty coverage. There are 2 kinds of dual beam kits.
One type uses a single bulb. The beam pattern is changed by the use of a small motor that moves a reflector. I use to sell this kind of kit and found it too dificult to install and unreliable due to the moving parts.
Our new kits use 2 bulbs on each base. This allows easy installation and no moving parts to wear down.
With HIDs the visability is dramatically improved over the conventional halogen output. You may never feel the need to use the high beams but they are there in case you do. I like to keep the high beams for flashing and they are required for state inspection.
The kit is completly plug and play. No extra parts, cutting, splicing, or modification of any kind at all. I do recommend haveing the kit installed at a local stereo shop in case you are uncomfortable installing on your own. I can install this kit in under 30 minutes a first time installer will take longer but directions are included.
We have the kits in all color temperatures. For the stock white output as seen on the new Mercedes go with the 4300K. The 6000K has a barely noticeable blue tone to it similar to the new BMW headlamps. Come check out our customer photo gallery at www.blinglights.net/gallery and our shop at www.blinglights.com Thx
-Jason

You don't even have the Ridgeline listed on your web site. There's not even a "Honda" listing under "Trucks & 4x4s & Vans".
How about giving us the bottom line on the prices since we can't even find the right kits on the web site? 15% off is the deal right? So how much would it be for a kit for the Ridgeline with this dual-bulb setup? How much is shipping?
Thanks! |

By the way for the member who keeps reminding us to contact the site admin we already did a long time back and our banner is in the rotation. You can also find the Ridgeline banner on our site rotation at well http://blinglights.com/shopbling/store/comersus_listCategoriesAndProducts.asp?idCategory=67&curPage=2
For HID prices check out Honda > SUV in the website categories. It seemed to soon to put up a honda truck page.
The prices without the discounts are $299 for the low beam kit and $374 for the dual beam kit. Once the group buy hits quota there is an additional 10% or 15% off depending on how many members we can get to participate. thx |

| OK, thanks. Unfortunately, $318 is still going to be too rich for my budget right now. Maybe later. |

| Your MDX looks kind of silly with different color lights. IMNSHO all the lights should be the same color. |

| I like the dual colors, looks much better in person. That picture does not give it any justice. |

| How could anyone like the different colored lights? What is it about having two colors that would make someone say "Gee, I like that!"? I certainly understand someone not minding having two different colors, but I don't understand someone liking it! Just my brazen, bold, uninvited opinion on the subject. You get what you pay for when you get unsolicited, free opinions (or, stated differently, opinions are like, well...you know...everyone has one and it stinks!)! |

The Lexus IS, BMW Z8, and many other vehicles have the Blue HID headlamps and plasma yellow fogs. I though it was sharp looking. You can match them too, that's another good one. thx

| It appears that lighting primary concern is now a fashion statement instead of performing the intended function. I like what I have, Honda did a good job. Yes I do like HID headlights when properly designed and have DOT approval. My Acura has them, but they get such a bad rap because of all the aftermarket kits that do not meet DOT specs... Read the fine print on most kits...'for off road use'. |
