BlingLights now has a new affordable product, may we introduce the new Mtec premium halogen bulb. All sizes in the Cosmo Blue 4750K. The bulb have a metalic finish with an intense 100W + output. Of course genuine HIDs are king but for much less these Mtec bulbs are an improvement over conventional halogen bulbs in both output and appearance.

What makes these premium bulbs better then your every day run of the mill tinted halogen bulbs is the quality. Metalic finish assures your headlamps don't have that strange blue color to the housings when the lights are off so it makes it difficult to detect these are anything other then real HIDs to others.

The metalic finish won't flake off and the bulbs won't die out prematurely. Mtec is a well known brand we are proud to provide.

Mtec are premium halogen bulbs that are brighter then conventional halogen bulbs and produce a white HID simulated output closer to the color of natural sunlight. Mtec of Japan is consided an industry leader in quality products and unlike cheap tinted bulbs these bulbs will not flake or die prematurely. The bulbs are also available in 55 and 65 watt types. This is important because many other brands acheive brighter output by drawing more current. This additional yield can damage your hanress and cause heat damage to the headlamps. By keeping within the factory wattage these Mtec Cosmo Blue 4750K bulbs run much less of a risk.

These are great holiday gifts for anyone!

Frequently asked questions:

Q. 1) How do the Mtec bulbs compare to a genuine HID Conversion Kit?
A. 1) HIDs will alway be brighter and whiter then halogens. As far as halogens go the Mtec bulbs are as good as they get. Their is a brighter output compared to conventional halogen bulbs and the output is white in appearance and looks a lot like HID output.

Q. 2) Is the output white or blue?
A. 1) 2) The output is white with a nice hint of blue. Its hard to tell they aren't real HID unless you pull up besides a car that has genuine HIDs.

Q. 3) What is the price for a set of Mtec bulbs?
A. 3) They are available in all sizes for $49.95 Mtec makes some of the most affortable genuine JDM bulbs from Japan. I had both PIAA and Mtec on my SUV before going to HID and I would say the Mtec are just as good if not better then the PIAA bulbs. Also the Mtec bulbs from my experience lasted much longer.

Blinglights? Please! This post should be removed, it's SPAM for cheap imitation HIDs. Halogen bulbs with a blue timt for $50, but your homeboys will be impressed - I guess.

It should at least be moved out of the General section.

Clearly this is spam. Perhaps a warning that any further posts of this nature outside of the for sale section would consitute a ban from the board. I for one, am not interested in any cheap imitation HIDs that are illegal in some states. The things that I want to purchase for any of my vehicles are sought out in ebay, for sale forums, etc., not in the general section.

On the subject of SPAM - Yes and no. A site sponser is allowed to post items of this nature.

On the subject of where to post - there are a couple places it could have gone (but General was not one of them).

Aftermarket HID's conversion kits are illegal in all states. Imitation ones - I'm not sure. But the package would have to be marked if the bulbs were DOT approved for ON ROAD use.
