|
|
I just found a web site offering the new Skyjacker suspension lift kit for the Ridgeline. Their price is $273. I'm seriously thinking about placing an order!

From their description:
"Skyjacker's 2" lift for the Honda Ridgeline 4x4 offers a great lift at a great price. This 2" suspension lift utilizes the factory struts which retains the factory ride quality and handling characteristics. The bolt-on lift includes new heavy duty red powder coated front and rear strut spacers and Grade 8 mounting hardware." |

Way cool. Was the Skyjacker kit made of metal or polyurethane? [EDIT: Read the Web link: The kit is metal.]
FWIW, if anyone reading this installs this kit themselves, you should first loosen all the bolts at suspension arm pivot points, install the kit, put the vehicle at right height, and then tighten the pivot bolts. The suspension bushings are rubber vulcanized to steel (one piece), so if you lift the truck without loosening/tightening the pivot bolts, you'll be twisting the daylights out of your one-piece suspension bushings. |
