 I am attempting to collect some statistics here. Please select the type of vehicle that your Ridgeline replaced or what you were driving prior to your RL purchase.I will post my findings after I collect 30 days of data, hopefully this will be enough data to verify my theory.
Thanks, |

Traded in my 2003 Camry for the Ridgeline. This is my first truck, SUT, 4WD, etc. I have never owned an SUV, although I had a few wagons and even a mini-van in the past.
I have to say it was really easy to make the transition from driving a car to driving this truck. It drives like nothing I have ever experienced before. I love the stability and comfort and it goes off road as easily as it goes over curb stops at the mall. 8)
Are you going to let us in on the theory, or do you want to wait or the results? |

| I got the Ridgeline not really to replace my Miata but to 'supplement' it...I should be building my new house soon and I wanted something to do light hauling with -- I'll leave the heavy stuff to the professionals! 8) |

| Honda Element after two years of realizing that my old GMC Safari had much more space and that I wasn't a 20-yr old snowboarder anymore. |

| I took the liberty to add one more option "Medium SUV" to your poll - which is what I replaced (a '03 Pilot). |

| Mine replaced a 1999 Trooper, which I loved. I've wanted a truck for a while, but wanted to be able to carry some passengers and have them be comfortable. I didn't want to waste gas on the big crew cab trucks, so the Ridgeline was a perfect fit. Beside the fact that it has such a unique look, which is partly why I liked the Trooper so much. |

This is a tough one. I bought it intending to have it replace my CR-V, but in the end it turns out that we're keeping the CR-V and it is replacing the Civic which replaced the Insight not too long ago. In the overall scheme of things it really has replaced the Insight, even though that wasn't the plan at first.
How should I vote? Car (actually itty-bitty-teeny-tiny car) or small SUV? |

| Come on... 1700+ members and only 28 answered the poll over a 30 day period. That is pretty sad  . I was hoping to get some good data and shed some light on some subjects. With the sparse participation I think that most can see that around 70% of the participants changed from vehicles that get much better gas mileage (at least 20%). I will provide the data regarding the avg gas mileage by each category this weekend so you can compare. I feel that many of the gas mileage complaints that I see here do not take into consideration that you are driving a 4WD truck, and 7 of 10 have changed from a vehicle that got better gas mileage, of course that will be an issue. But it is a decision that was made by whom???    |

I hate to be stupid - But I cannot figure out how to vote in the poll.
I'm sure it is simple to do and I must be missing something basic. But that is why my vote is not recorded.
I cannot simply click on the vehicle type at the top of the topic page - Where should I be looking? |

| You can only vote once, so if you voted earlier, then your vote has been counted. If not, then you should not see the results at the top of the page and you can click on one of the choices. If you see the results than either you already voted or the poll is closed. |
