I just purchased the rear storage system but I think I should have purchased the rear cargo tray. The storage system doesn't allow you to slide stuff under the seat unless you lift the seat.
Anyone want the rear storage system? Opinions on either? |

I have one and am happy with it. You can still slide stuff in from the front since it has an elastic net. |

Right there with you on that one bro. I just got the storage tray myself for that reason. Some people have said the downside is that things could possibly slide out of out, but probably unlikely since it sits lower than that seat locking mechanism. I thought i would be great to just slide wet boots into under the seat.
The Storage Tray is awesome. Check this place out for prices:
College Hills Honda
You should be able to install yourself. |

| I have the tray (really like a mat). I think for my needs it was the best selection. There are times I wished I had the storage system. But I desire the ability to maintain a flat floor. Stuff will roll around, but you will get accustomed to positioning items. I like it for my snow brush, out of the way, keeps the carpet clean, is easy to access, and can be removed as easy as removing a mat. Works out well for me 95% of the time. Plus it is about 1/2 the expense. 8) |

| I have the under seat storage tray, and like it. I made my own dividers for the bed trunk out of plexiglass. They slide in and just pull out for bigger items, |

| My wife bought me the rear seat storage system for my birthday, which was 4 days after Christmas. For Christmas she bought me the OEM door edge guards...among a few other items not for the Ridgeline. |

| I have the underseat storage system. One thing to consider before buying it, is that it only comes in one color. Gray. if you have a different colored interior, you may or may not like it. For me, it doesn't matter. Although my interior is tan, the storage system belnds in to the interior well. It's made tough and is light in weight. Installation is easy for a novice DIY'er as the install sheets can be found online. |

Ok now an update.
I had the tray since I purchased my RL in 3/05. Back in Jan 07 I ended up getting the storage system to replace the tray. My opinion can go either way, the storage system holds items better, but the tray allows for a flat floor. Can't have the best of both worlds, I decided that I would make the sacrifice and lose a little of flat floor space. It has not impacted me as much as I thought it would. :) |
