Sold my Dodge Dakota Sport 4-door for the Ridgeline. My Dakota had a 5.9 engine (No Comparison not even in the same league), leather, and alloy wheels. I really had fun with this truck. I could burn rubber, pass, pull, leave, as least I felt like I could move any vehicle out of the way. My honda RT w/moon, leather, navi and all of the safety features really is no comparison to the dodge. I feel safer with my family in the honda.

My Ridge is in the body shop so I picked up a Dodge 1500 with the smaller hemi and quad cab for the loaner vehicle. The Dodge looks much bigger on the exterior but the Ridgeline feels bigger on the interior. The V8 is nice but I'm not sure if it is that much faster then the Ridge. The steering in the Dodge is very light and didn't offer much feel as compared to the Ridgel, which in turn didn't offer much feel compared to my old Civic. Haven't test the brakes in the Dodge as there is nowhere safe to do so in the city but I did notice the brake pedal really closer to the driver and thus making it harder to find a comfortable seating position, I'm under six feet so that'll just exacerbate the situation. I believe the Dodge pulls more etc but really isn't as user friendly. It was hard getting use to a personal vehicle without a trunk. The interior is typical Domestic Vs typical Import so that's personal preference (like everything else). The Dodge is pretty good considering what you pay for it, but I'd still pay a little more if I was to use the truck for personal use, I'm not sure if the Dodge came with side impact and curtain bags. Mind you a co-worker saw me getting out of the Dodge today and said, "I'm glad you finally came to your senses and bought a real truck", mind you he drives a power stroke Ford, there's always that machismo factor some people consider. I'm not slaming the Dodge, but driving it made me appreciate the Ridge that much more, can't wait to get it back from the shop.
