Anything higher than 68 results in stuffiness if it's cooler than that or being too damn hot if it's hotter than that (cooler or hotter than the outside temp, of course!)
I prefer my car to be a little too cool rather than a little too hot. The other half prefers the opposite so, thank god for the dual climate controls! :) |

| That works! Fun playing in the snow with the Ridge, but I still hate that white $h!t. My Dad lives right across the street from the beach in FT Lauderdale. He always calls after he hears about significant snow fall up north. I think he does it just to rub it in! Less that 5 weeks 'till Spring begins! |

Yeah - and that's when we typically get our "heavy" snowfalls.

| Oh, believe me, I know. Spring typically BEGINS on March 20th. This is also the anniversary of my birth. I can remember many times it snowed on my special day :( |

Perhaps I missed it - where do you live in SD? We get up there fairly often. My wife's nephew has a cabin in Spearfish canyon that we spend time at, plus we always try to make "Kool Nights" in Deadwood each year. |

Winter in SoCal usually just means rain, unless there's a drought. In the old days, I would have set the temp lower even in the winter, but these days it's usually at 72(F). If it's hot, I'll run the A/C at the coldest until the cabin cools down, then set the temp at about 68 or 70. Depends on how strong the sun is that day.
This is the first vehicle I've owned that had dual zone and temperature-set climate control. It is pretty seamless, and works beautifully. It's one of those things you never think about until you have it, and then never want to live without it again. |

I've said it before and I'll say it again....the climate control on the Ridge does not quite perform as good as in the Pilot or the Accord. Maybe it's the position of the cabin sensor. The Honda tech also told me that he's had some complaints about it.
Comfortable setting in my Ridge is 68*F |

I am with Colorider, I tend to go with 68 in winter and 75 in summer... that way I don't feel such a severe temperature change when it's 105 out in summer.
Being a native of England, 105 degree summers take it out of me. |
