Nah!! But Z-28 type racing stripes might be neat. I mean the two WIDE stripes from front to back across the hood and tailgate.

Hmmm, it might look good, considering the size/shape of the hood. The stripe idea souns pretty good as well.
Post some pics if you do it!!!

Is this purely cosmetic? Is there some kind of functionality that's supposed to go along with it?

I had something like this on a Monte Carlo. It was a decal that cracked and looked like cr@p after years. :(

The new dodge chargers have it, too...as did some of the older mopars. Haven't seen it on a truck, though.

For those of you who don't recall Z-28 racing stripes, I found these pics. I'd do it to my Redrock Ridge, if it weren't a lease.

Sure wish I owned that Z-28! I don't think I'd like the stripes on my Ridgeline, though 8)

None of us will know for sure until we see it on a Ridgeline. So my vote is, go for it, take lots of pics, and we'll know for sure. I think it might look alright. You can always take it off. How about cutting out some black material and placing it on the hood to see roughly how it will look?
