It's getting close to a year that the Ridgeline has been out. Of course all the 'press' of winning Truck of the Year has helped boost it's visability. We are seeing more and more of them in the Nor. Cal area...but they are still a 'rare bird' indeed.
Wondering if any of ya all are still getting complements/questions/ at stores, gas stations, etc.
My husband gets a question almost every day from Contractors who see him pull up to job sites in his truck.
We also spoke to a man who got out of a Ridgeline at a store we were at, and I told him we were Ridgeline owners too.
Here is the kicker: the guy told us he also owns a Mercedes, and LOVES the truck way more than the MB. There's a compliment for Honda if I ever heard one.
Anyone care to jot down some 'strokes' they got lately on their truck? |

| I had just gone through the Arby's drive through a few weeks ago and parked to hand out the food to the family. A guy in a contractor's F-150 pulled up and motioned for me to roll down my window. He had great things to say and said that he loved the truck. |

| I was in a shopping mall parking lot recently and saw this guy and his wife on all fours looking under my Ridge. I thought that maybe I had parked on top of something. Turns out the guy works for the company that manufacturers the rear axel for Honda. Just showing his wife his handy work. :) |

| I still get the rubber-necking, mostly from young p/u drivers, but haven't had any strangers actually talk to me lately! |

I took mine to my work the other day, and one of the mechanics on the plant told me he wished they were out when he bought his '04 Sequoia. He says he would have much preferred the Ridgeline. Of course he was drooling all over my interior, but what the hell, it's leather, it wipes off! :P
I ran into a Real Estate Agent in Ojai who is also a Ridgeline owner. We had a good chat about our Ridge's, his is like mine except for the color. He has the blue. So hi to Bruce if you made it on the site!
I am seeing about 3 to 5 of them a day now on my vanpool commute. They are definitely becoming more popular. |

| I guess you can say I got the ultimate compliment - my next door neighbor bought one! When i got my RL in August I could go a week or two without seeing another one here in central Delaware, now there are at least three in my rather rural development! |
