I'm not sure any of you forum members are as 'chinchy' as me when it comes to penny-pinching. When your Ridgeline is still under warranty, it makes pretty good sense to bring it in for Dealer service.
Before ANY vehicle service, I go to the dealer website and check under Specials/Coupons, etc.
I'll post a sample .GIF file of a local coupon giving you $100 off the price of a car at our local Honda dealer. The coupons change every month and sometimes dealers will post they will meet other dealer's labor prices!
You'd be surprised what you can find at these on-line Honda dealer sites every month. One time, we got new Ridgeline wiper blade inserts for under $5.00. SUCH a deal!!!!
I'm in the Advertising profession and although we don't concentrate on 'consumer' coupon advertising (per se)...we pay the money to advertise so YOU (the Consumer) use the discounts and coupons!
Don't be ashamed or feel bad printing them out and using them.
We need to know through the use of the discounts (we track their usage) if our internal campaigns are working or not...
So, save a few bucks and check your local dealer web-site for money-saving coupons. |

Was that a back-handed ad for the advertising community???
This is a great idea, though. If you register on a dealer's website, they will usually send you a monthly e-mail with their specials. I bought a Camry at Longo Toyota once, and even thogh I don't have the car anymore, I still get their e-mail newsletter. Sometimes a dealer will take other dealer's coupons, so it is worth asking about, too. |
