We were given a price of $28500.00 for an RTL with moonroof and
an offer of $11,000 for our trade which is a 2002 Aura RSX with around
55000 miles and some minor door damage on the passenger side. It is
also in need of tires. I think the trade is fair for the car and condition.
Is the price on the RTL a good one??

thanks

Check www.carsdirect.com and you will see the price for your area.
In CA zip code 90045 that car truck sells for $27,726 but you can always beat that price by emailing dealers in your area and they will fight to give you the best price. Be careful before you go to the dealer and make sure you get a price in writing (email) is okay before you go in. That way they can't back out.

I hope this helps.

If i had more time to go out to other dealers i would get couple more hundred off...when i bought my ridgeline in May..the price i received was 26,999...I think since the 06 models are clearing out you can hit a better deal

Wow, you did a lot better than I did on mine, but of course mine was the first one in Santa CLarita with Navi, way back when. They weren't dealing in those days. Just 234 more payments, and it's mine!

Hey bigdave, how many years did you finance for?? 234 payments left? That's like 19.5 years!

You probably meant 23?

Edmunds.com is reporting $3000.00 manufacturer to dealer incentives.

It looks liike it's only $2500. There are two incentives, one for $500 and one for $2500, and you can't use both. Sux!

Dave,

My mistake...you're correct. $2500 or $500, one or the other you can't have both.

Back in early December 2006, I paid $25,800 for my RTX here in W. MA. It was the best price I could get here w/o traveling to the Boston area for a slightly better price saving a few hundred. But that wasn't worht the effort.

If you are pricing any new vehicle in Canada I would suggest you subsribe to Car Cost Canada. It gives you a pricing report. That way you know how much the dealer cost is and what is their profit margin. You only negotiate how much they are going to make in profit. I purchased my Ridgeline for $500 above all dealer cost which was a great deal.

All my friends have used them also with great results. I would highly recomend this service to anybody in Canada

Does that site figure in the kickbacks the Honda dealership gets at the end of the year for each new car they sale? When a dealer shows you an invoice that IS NOT what they paid for the truck, I promise. I paid $25,600 for my RTX. I found one for $25,300 but that dealership didn't offer me near as much for my trade. I don't think you can get a better 4wd truck for the money.
