This has an onboard GPS, is there software or a site that if I plug a code it will track the movement of the truck on a home computer, we plan on travlin and I would like our kids to know where we are at any given time.

Unless you have access to the military's sophisticated satellites, the only way to do this is by purchasing and/or subscribing to a local tracking service which will install a unit in your truck that can be later tracked and accessed via the internet.

Honda's nav unit (unlike GM's notorious On-Star system) homes in on a minum of three satellites which when the signal is triangulated, can pin-point (to a fair amount of precision) your location on a digitized map.

Try sharperimage.com. Just got a new catalog yesterday that has a portable tracking device that you can put in the glove compartment and you can track via the internet. It even shows the speed that the vehicle is going!

Seems like a nifty item
