| Interesting stuff, thanks! I remember in the late 70s and early 80s there were a few people who thought the 4wd Subarus were amazing, and the Eagle was the wave of the future -- of course, this was "up north" where we had to contend with snow in the winter. No one ever thought we'd want 4wd as a standard feature for cars or trucks in Florida! In fact, lots of people didn't buy those original Subarus because they didn't need 4wd in the summer so why waste the money! |
