Hello everyone, My name is Anthony aka Toobuku. I am a long time member of The ROC. I met Bigdave269 there and in person at a Dodger game. He told me about this site and thought Id join it as well. I don't go 4x4ing much since I have 20's and rims on my truck. But I wanted to invite you folks to our CAL ROC MEET in Santa Cruz on September 30, 2006. I hope to meet some of you there. Here is a link to obtain information if you wish to attend...

If that wasn't the day I was leaving for a cruise, I would be in Santa Cruz, for sure. Remember the old Honda ad? "You meet the nicest people in a Honda."
Glad you came on, Tony! |

| Just to admit that I'm old as dirt -- I DO remember the "you meet the nicest people in a honda" - First NEW car I bought back in 1975 was a Honda Civic, I live in Green Bay, Wisconsin at the time and people would stare, point, and often say "You meet the nicest people in a Honda" even though I was the ONLY person in town with one! |

I've been holding off on posting my 1,000th but since the secret's out, here goes...
I joined this site in early 2005, before the big crash, and re-joined in Oct. 05.....I quit once and then came back.....I turned down an offer to be a moderator because I didn't think I'd have enough time.....I've tried other sites, but I keep coming back....best of all I've made some "efriends" here! I love this site for the information and enjoyment, although I originally joined because of two things -- first of all I wanted to learn about a new truck that I had fallen in love with and needed some info before spending my hard-earned money on a new model, and secondly I have been active on other car forums and have found some of the nicest, most informed people on these sites, BUT THIS ONE TAKES THE CAKE....
THANKS EVERYONE FOR BEING HERE!
I've made one post for every 30 miles I've driven, not that I planned it like that, it just happened that way! |

| Yes 06 we did miss you when you went AWOL. You know what you being so loyal to this site I would also donate points, but you have a passion for them wiener roasting thing a ma dings that bigdave posted. Well I happen to have two Miller Mig Welders in my farm shop. So if I can get my harvest done "they are on back order for you" Now don't get in a rush as we had a drastic turn around in the weather pattern from high heat to snow and freezing temps. So 06 take your pick wiener roasting thing a ma dings or points your pick. |

| Do they work with Italian sausages? Italian sausages are a little larger than the average weenie. :) |

| Oh-Boy bigdave I should know better than to open my big mouth, and y'all are backing me into the corner. But 06 did win 1st prize for that 1000 post. And now we got Waterbug concerned with weenie size (Prototype should meet International Standards "ASE') 5/16" & 3/16" Stainless Steel Rod on order to-day. |
