|
|
I just picked up my Ridge yesterday, very nice. However I wish to change a few items, tires (same size to preserve ride quality), brake pads (lower dust, better stopping etc).
Question for you all, can anyone recommend a performance street summer tire in the stock size. Secondly what is the offset for the stock rim?. I've looked for some aftermarket pads, but can't find any. Found some for the Pilot but not the Ridge...... I remember someone telling me that the Ridge and Pilot share "some" items from the parts bin. Does anyone know if the pads are the same?.
Thanks in advance

Looks like the off-set is +48mm and the bolt pattern is 5-120 (rim size 17x7.5).
The Goodyear Fortura Triple Tread is rated #1 in survey results at www.tirerack.com
On a side note, I've bought 4 sets of tires from tirerack.com and each time the savings has been well over $200. They'll either ship to your door or drop ship them to one of their recommended shops or one of your choice.
I checked the part numbers on brake pads for the Pilot and Ridgeline, they don't appear to be the same. Here's a link for some low dust performance pads for the Ridge.
