Thought I would share a photo or two with you guys of my first mod. Let me know how you like it. It is a Wade, clear deflector. My local body shop painted it to match my steel blue. It was painted on the inside to protect it from chipping.

Like it looks great it blends right in, and I like the idea you don't see the fastener hardware heads like on the OEM version.do you think it's as durable as the OEM one ?? Why I ask this question is in the past I've had ends blow off hood deflectors on very windy days at high way speeds in particular when you meet an oncoming semi and get that hellish turbulence, vortex or sucking action.

So far, so good CR-V. I've had it through many a carwash with no harm. It's been on for 8 months and still looks as good as ever. So far, I haven't encountered the oncoming semi, but I do understand your fear.

Thanks, gugman. I'm very happy with it. If you decide to do I'd be happy to supply part numbers and such. Let me know.

Gugman, My body shop did the buying, painting and installation. I'm told it's a Wade deflector. The part number is 22101 for the clear, paintable, deflector.

I'm sure you can Google for a Wade supplier. Hope this helps.

Bob, the body shop did the install. However he told me it was pretty easy. There are preexisting holes under the hood and the deflector is supplied with with plugs that fit into those holes and the deflector screws into a hole in the plug.
