I hope no one minds, but I thought it would be a good idea to show some photos of the Mid-Atlantic Meet held in Cape May, NJ back in October. This is the Meet and Greet I extended the invitation to members of this site back in Sept. The Meet opened at the Cape May Lighthouse.
I hope others who attended other Regional Meets start photo threads in their Region Section within the Meets Forum. |

OK, I'm back. I don't think it's too soon. Perhaps we can get even more input from our new friends here and really do it up right.
Do you have any preliminary thoughts as to what we may want consider this time around? |

I liked your idea of maybe mid Sept. I hear there's a lot happening in Cape May the 3rd weekend. Fireworks, car show and a couple other things.
Perhaps some other folks would like to chime in with their idea's.
How 'bout this weather.........Sorry, no snow would suit me just fine... |

| Thanks for the great pic's. That was just awesome for me to see so many Ridges to-gether, I bet it sure cranked a lot of onlooker heads around. So what do we call multi vehicle sightings?? don't think Flock or Herd fits. |

LOL! It all depends on who designs it. I would expect that all of the support would come from current members of this site, just like the organization and support did for the wonderful meet that LadyRidge organized at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the one that you organized in Cape May. Of course I am speaking in present tense and that you two are here now. According to recent posts there, I doubt that the mention of a joint meet would be tolerated on the ROC. Interesting that I don't recall any negative feedback from RL4wd when you reached out to members here and extended a gracious invitation for everyone to attend. Both turned out to be great events and they were very good for members as well as the club itself. I think that we should just do it and extend the open invitation to any Ridgeline enthusiast. No one needs to be turned away because they do or do not belong to any club, site or organization. The less competition and the more cooperation the better. Let the chips fall where they may. |

I concur, U-H. If we can figure a way to announce the next Meet to all RL owners within our region (and beyond) that would be terrific. R4wd would have to serve as the meeting point for information dispersement. The benefit of that would be the resultant growth in membership.
Is it safe to assume the next Meet will be held in Cape May again? If so, Cape May will be announcing their 2k7 events calander very soon. I could supply a link to the events calander for member review and date discussion. |
