Old members:
Thanks for sticking by the site even through the crash and the loss of members/activity. This is not my business or anything, so even if the site fell flat on its ass I wouldn't cry, but for me its just a fun thing to do and to have.
New members:
Thanks for breathing new life into this forum. Just call me Lazarus. I hope more people will come as a result of you guys! |

I couldn't think of a better place to be, Ridgeline4wd. My friends are here, some old and some new. Without this site there would be no increase in activity, so the thanks goes to you, sir.
If there is anything we can do to help just let us know. |

| I have stated it in other threads, I am happy to see the new life in the old board! I am one of the R4WD die-hards, and saw some times when it seemed there were only a few of us posting! All of you new members have been great, even digging up some of our old and sometimes embarassing  posts! You even woke up some of our old timers and got them posting again. So I will agree with Chris, and say a big thatnks to all of our members, and I am looking forward to a great new year with lots of fun on the old site! |

| Thanks Chris & Dave, have hung in with you since the Ridge was still in diapers. It was a big learning curve for me as it was my very first forum to be on. Your efforts are greatly appreciated and a special thanks to all new members for your injection of life to the site. A great crowd and company to be part of. |

| CR-V, I think it's members such as yourself, that have stuck with this site, that make it the fine place it is. I appreciate your kind words concerning us "Newbies". I'm sure at first we were a bit overwhelming. |

| Speaking as a "newbie", I came here because some good friends moved over here and I am staying because I found a lot of other good people had been here all along. |

CR-V, you could have easily been the moderator yourself. You were definitely here before me! I'm glad you always stuck it out.
What a lovefest! Do we need some tissues around here?

Hi ridgeline4wd!
This "newbie" just wants to thank you for the kind welcome and for providing the access to alot of "veteran" experience here!
I, too, can see that as others "find" the "Honda Ridgeline SUT" site, it will continue to grow.
You've got a knowledgeable bunch of people assembled here... both new and old!
Here's to the "future" members! I hope they find the forum as helpful and as much fun as I have, already!
Thanks,
Pug |

Hello All,
My name is Jake McFadden. I'm from Northern California. Willits is the name of the town. I'm a ex construction worker. Now I'm back in college full time majoring in business, and + I'm a Realtor serving all of Mendocino county and a little bit of Lake county. I currently do mostly land, and residential sales. But, I'd like to expand to finance, and commercial Real Estate. I have a 14 month old daughter. Her name is Aidyn, and she is the best thing that ever happened to me.
I have a 03 f150 ScREW Lariat FX4 with a few EFFECTIVE power mods.
I need a better commuter, and I'm concerned about Global Warming. So, I'm interested in the Ridgeline RTL. I'm a little concerned with it being under powered though.
Please check out/respond to my post's in the" Engine" section. |

| Hi Jake, I'm glad to see you're on board. Sorry, but I'm not much into the performance mod thing, but I'm sure you'll eventually find others here that share your interest. |

Welcome aboard jake mcfad and Aidyn!
I wish that I could help you with your quest for performance mods but frankly, I am quite happy with the performance of the Ridgeline just as it is. Of course more HP is always better  but for my purposes I don't see a need to sacrifice fuel mileage or risk reliability or warranty problems. Again, that is for my purposes. Yours very well could be different or you just may like it that way. The only thing that I have heard about is that there is an aftermarket company that is, I believe, close to being ready to have a turbo available for the Ridgeline.
I will offer that the Ridgeline is by far the most versatile, comfortable, quiet, best handling (truck or SUV), and reliable vehicle that I have had in the past 35 years. There is plenty of room in the back seat for clients, and baby seats too! You will love it! |

| I was just doing some "internet searching" and one of the things I've noticed is this club does not show up very readily. I wouldn't know how to do it, but if something could be done to make the site more prominent for those looking for online Ridgeline Communities I'm sure there would be a boost in R4wd membership. |

| I did a search on Google last week for "Ridgeline" and this site was 4th from the top. I just did it again and we are now in 3rd place. I don't know about other search engines. |

U-H, I just did another search using the term "Ridgeline Forums" and this site actually came up first. I'm thinking the search is dependant upon the wording used on the home page. For example, if the opening line used the words "Owners" and "Forums" then I think there's a good chance it would be the first hit on many searches.
I guess what I'm saying is if the first line in the home page contained the most commonly used words when searching you're most likely to be the first hit.
When I was seeking information about the Ridgeline prior to my purchase I searched using the words "Ridgeline Owners Reviews". That's how I found my first home. It was not only the first hit but the first three hits. This site never appeared on the entire first page of results. |
