Is it possible to modify the seat belt chime so that it does not continue to signal an unbuckled belt? I do wear seatbelts on the road, but on the jobsite, putting on the belt to tour a community and make numerous stops for inspections, taking the belt on and off is annoying.
I was unable to find the topic in the manual. |

| Welcome aboard. I know your feelings on that issue But got to say please buckle up "What's the rush??" as there is numerous injuries and fatalities in urban areas as well the highways. We just never no when and quite often it's when you least expect it. Sorry for my preaching , just my 02. |

Ok Gunndunn now I've got a quilt feeling for holding back just because I'am a believer in seat belts.(for personal family reasons) The topic was brought up before under the forum index Troubleshooting & Maint.(Now achieved due crash Hackers)

| Thanks CR-V. I'll try the jumper wire listed in the post. What I was hoping for was a way to reprogram the system to chime, but stop after the initial cycle. I had a 2002 Explorer that was reprogrammable and didn't completely defeat the safety system. |
