I only spent a little over one hitch in ('62 to '67). FTG2 when I got out.

hello all!
First of all I've seen all the colors in Person, and i am deciding between a sliver and blue. But leaning more toward silver.
I luckly happen to work next to a honda dealer so i get to see the colors both in daylight and at night. I was really impressed by the blue in the brochure but when i saw it in person it looked more teal-ish which was a turn off. I though it may have been a bad batch from the factory. So i look up some pictures on the boards and some angles it looks like grey graphite color on the accords. Is this miss leading?
I did wish they made a graphite color like those they use on thier accords.
Does anyone have any opionions on what other colors they may release next year? Also if its an '06 this year. does that mean it will still stay a '06 next year?
Thanks all! |

integ816,
Welcome to the board!!! I'm sure only Honda knows for sure on colors - but I can tell you what happened on the Pilot, introduced in mid 2002 as an early release '03. A new dark blue was added in '04 and they dropped a light blue. They also dropped a metallic evergreen mid 2003. In '05 they dropped the dark blue and added the steel blue you see on the RidgeLine. Also made a slight change to the silver.
I guess what I'm saying is don't expect much of a change throughout 2006 and "maybe" something new for '07.
Just my $.02 |

The very thing that attracted us is the teal tone and that's what you dislike. It just shows why we need different colors to choose from. The brouchure color of the blue is WAY off what it looks like in person. Once we saw the blue, we knew for certain that was the color for us. |

Tempted, i understand that the sbm is the color of choice for some people. And now that you mention it the more and more i look at the blue its becomming more of an aquired taste.
I think if you look at it long enough it starts to grow on you.
gosh only if choosing a color was easy.

I also love the Amazon Green Metallic -- and I was also sold when I saw the interior! It's nice to hear someone else had the same reaction. I tried to talk someone into agreeing that the best color is black, but they kept disagreeing with me and saying the amazon green is by far the best color! I don't know if she (yes, it was a girl) was just sucking up or if she really meant it, but either way it felt good!
When I get mine, it will be green. Blue is a distant second choice. (And that blue really does look different under different lighting. ) |

Hey, I should've trademarked the '06Ridge' as being a shortened and recognized form of '2006Ridgeline' -- :):):):):) Next I suppose you'll have an avatar of just your mouth or forehead! :):):):)
You have great taste in vehicles as well as color. Congrats! I'm now going to check out the gallery. Thanks for posting pics.
