Add on Turn Signals

I am looking for information on the best place to hook into the turn signal wiring. I want to add a stick on arrow to my outside mirrors and need to know where to tie into the turn signal wiring. Where and the color codes of the left and right signal wiring. If anyone has done this and could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.
