I like the second layout the best, using the text from the first image. Use a smaller font size for the place and date. "Mid-Atlantic Ridgeline Owners Rally" all the same size font, but larger than the place and date. Colors are nice, but not necessary. 8)
The decals can have the same wording. Maybe some with the Locomotive and some with the Covered Bridge for variety.
