Great looking family, Joe. You deserve to be a proud papa.

Thanks, Tom.

Like most families there is the good and the bad, but like I've heard many times before you can't spell "Disfunctional" without the FUN. I wouldn't know what to do without them. I think the wife is as cute today as the day I met her.

It's been awhile since I felt the need to post in this thread. The ugly urge has reared it head once again. It is extremely hot in work today. The factory AC system is in bad shape and probably needs to be replaced or at least a major overhaul.

I was lucky enough to be able to take an extended lunch today so that I could visit my G-daughters school. As I have mentioned before, she is a special needs child and is being taught life skills at her school of special ed. They were having a graduation for one of the students and an awards ceremony for the rest. Yes, only one graduated! This school is set up differently than most grammer schools. Kids stay in the same class until they reach a certain age and then progress to the next level. Well, Mandy received two awards today. One was for excelling at cursive and the other for "random acts of kindness". Whenever a teacher notices a child doing something helpful for another there is an award involved. After she received the award she says to me, "Poppop, are you happy I got the award"? Jokingly I said to her, "Mandy, all this means is you were nice to someone only once". With one hand on her hip she said, "Poppop, the award was because I was nicer to more people than anyone else"! She loves it when she can sass me back. :D

Thanks, Justin. She does put a smile on my face. In a little bit her and I are going for a little bike ride. 12 years old next month and she still can't ride without training wheels. I'll get her there, even if it kills me running along side of her. Trust me, I haven't ran since I turned 30 and that was a long time ago! :(
