If you missed the Formula 1 race this weekend in Montreal here is a Video link to R. Kubica in a BMW , thankfully only a broken leg. The safety factor in those F1 Cars are sure top notch.

The news reported on TV was incorrect, CR-V. From the official Formula 1 website:
"Less than 24 hours after his dramatic high-speed accident in Canada, BMW Sauber driver Robert Kubica has been discharged from hospital. Kubica drove himself away from Montreal’s Hospital du Sacre Coeur on Monday, after he received the all clear from doctors.
The 22 year-old was treated for a light concussion and a sprained ankle after the incident, which was caused when the Pole's BMW Sauber collided with the rear of Jarno Trulli’s Toyota on Lap 27 of Sunday’s Canadian Grand Prix."
Considering the force of the crash, that is extremely impressive.
Speaking of impressive, how about Lewis Hamilton? His sixth Formula 1 race at a track he's never raced at and he takes the pole and leads the race start to finish. In the first five races, he hasn't finished worse than third. |
