Happy Fathers Day to all. I got homemade cards from my 8 year old girl and a phone call from my 24 year old daughter serving in Afghanistan. I'm a very contented Dad today.

| Wow Hawk, that's great. I got to cook for a crowd! It's all good. It's what I like to do, and the family is more than willing to let me. |

I got some cool art for my office (photo of a '57 Cad grille, framed and matted), a muscle car clock (revs every hour) and a Dodger jersey. I took the wife and my oldest and youngest sons (middle one is out of state) to dinner at The Original Pantry in downtown Los Angeles (in my Ridge, of course) and had a wonderful tenderloin steak. But when the check came, I was the one that had to lay out the cash! That's what being a dad is all about.
Wish I could join you guys in Long Island, let me know if you ever want to meet in Long Beach! 8) |

| Had the kids and mother-in-law over for a cook-out -- celebrated the son's 27th, the daughter's 29th, and the mother-in-law's 84th at the same time. We had a fantastic day! |
