| That was a tremendous crash and I'm glad that Dario came out of it with nothing but a bruised nose. Racing has become so much safer than when I was racing back in the '70s that it's hard to imagine. While Dario's crash was spectacular, I probably wasn't as horrific as Formula 1's Robert Kubica in the Canadian Grand Prix when he went airborne and hit a concrete barrier nearly head on and then slid across the track and hit the barrier on the other side. He did suffer a minor concussion and had to sit out the US Grand Prix. |
