Has anybody ever tried the upgraded high intensity bulbs? I see the ones advertised for better vision. Are they worth the investment?
I drive in an area with lots of moose and deer on the road and any upgrade in light sure helps.

| I bought some brilliant blue bulbs from J.C. Whitney. I upgraded to 80W low beam & 100W high beam. Now they are a off brand and are brighter and cleaner light than the stock bulbs, but I wish I would have gone with the 100W low beam & 130W high beam, for the distance. I looked on www.Costco.com and they sell 55W/65W and 80W/100W 2 pack for our truck. There made by Pella bulbs. Sometimes they do free S/H on products I forgot if these are. I belive are a great product. You order them on-line only. If you do not like them return them to a near by store with the receipt and they will refund all your $$$. |

anybody have any experience yet determining if the higher heat generated by the higher wattage bulb will cause any damage in the bulb/reflector assembly ? Thanks
