Anyone see the Honda Ridgeline float on the Tournament of Roses parade in Pasadena this morning?

Here is the Edmunds article about it. It transforms from a Ridgeline to a spaceship with ASIMO piloting. It was pretty cool. I found some pics on the Honda Corporate Website, and I have attached them here. Enjoy!

Happy New Year to you all!

Yes we saw it! Deb and I were cheering and yelling like excited little kids! Cool that it won an award for most inovative float or something like that, since the Ridgeline is so inovative.
Happy New Year all!

I keep looking for the rocket button on my Ridgeline, but I can't seem to find it. It would sure help my commute on the 405!

I took the family to the parade. I thought the truck looked familiar at first, then I saw the HONDA logo. The truck did all the tricks, then my 5 year old said, "that's daddy's truck". He wanted me to buy him one just like it. I told him he could have my truck when he is old enough to drive.

Sad Note:
On the way to the parade, @3:30am on Interstate-5, a few miles before going up the Grapevine, I went through a sandstorm/rock storm. Luckily, I was already slowed down to about 45-50 mph due to gusty winds. I didn't think much of any damages, untill I checked my truck after the parade.
My windshield looked like it has been sandblasted with several dings and cracks all around. The front paint and headlights looks like it has been sanded off. I'm surprised the radiator didn't spring a leak as rocks/sand were imbedded all over it.

I'm still waiting for that GECKO regarding my claims.

Sorry Dave !! The float was a Concept Vehicle. Rocker boosters won't be available until the '09 model year. :)
