Just checking to see if there have been any problems with the tailgate while loading ATV's. With ramps attached, I normally ride my 600LB ATV on to the back of the truck. Since there is only one cable to support approx. 800lbs, will there be any damage to the tailgate while loading ? I read in the manual that the tailgate is desiged to carry a additional 300 lb load with the tailgate down while moving.

| IIRC, the static load capability of the tailgate is approximately 2,500 lb. It was designed with loading ATVs in mind. |
