Has anyone attached a slide in camper to their Ridge?? I want to try camping, but the thought of a tent is not appealing. I also have a couple of Jet Ski's (2500 lbs) that I want to use at the same time.
Any thoughts are welcome. |

I have not seen any options as of yet. Not saying there are none. But based on the design of the bed, it could prove to be a challenge since the bed is only 5 feet, 6.5 with the tailgate down. Don't forget that you will also need to relocate the spare, that will also cost you space in addition to losing the trunk.
Let us know what you end up with, this is an interesting question. |

| I don't think a slide-in camper will work with the ridge. A fifth wheel camper won't work either. I'd suggest pulling a pop-up camper but that wouldn't accommodate your toys. The answer is a a camping trailer called a "toy hauler" (google it). They are camping trailers with built-in rear compartments for everything from dirt bikes to race cars. |

| A toy hauler would workout great, but the weight is the biggest issue. I think they are already at the 7000 lb range. I need to move to state that allows me to tow the pop up and jet skis!!! |

There are pop-up type campers (with out the axles) attached to the front of what looks like about 16' utility trailer that allows the owner to load motorcycles or four wheelers behind the pop up. I think they are nice looking but your motorcycles are not covered. This unit without the cycles should weight less than 2500 pounds and is low profile. Good luck!
